A helping hand

A friend who’d just moved into a new house decided to take a stroll around the streets. He saw an elderly man weeding and, when he got closer, heard him singing It’s A Great Day For The Irish. “So, you’re from Ireland, mate,” said my friend. “No, I’m a dinky-di Aussie,” replied the man. “I thought if I sang loud enough someone would come and tell me to shut up!
