After failing to find The One, Lyndal took a leap of faith and applied for Australia’s latest dating show Date Night… but she tells Woman’s Day one Aussie celeb will always have her heart!
Why did you decide to go on the show?
I felt like I was coming to the end of this strange cycle in my life and I should do something different. So when the opportunity presented itself I figured why not?! It turned out to be a really good experience.
What’s the worst first date you’ve been on?
I’ve been on a few shockers, like when you turn up and they don’t look like their photograph. But the worst was this guy that I met from a dating website and the moment I saw him, I knew it wasn’t right. We were both movie buffs so we went to see a film, and the whole time all I wanted to do was run to the bathroom and not come back. I stuck it out, but bolted at the end! It was absolutely tragic.
What are your dating turn offs?
Someone who second guesses themselves. Anyone who can’t be truthful or honest is hands-down off the list. I don’t do liars.
Who is your ultimate celebrity crush?
Anthony Lapaglia. He’s dark, tall, handsome and very manly! I went to a film he was in and he did a Q&A after. I sat there sweating because I was so excited! He’s an amazing actor. DATE NIGHT Monday, 9pm, Nine
