PHILLY STEAK ROLLS WITH FRIES

MAKES 4 PREP 10 MINS COOK 10 MINS PER SERVE 3193kj

2 tbsp olive oil, plus 1 tsp extra 1 onion, sliced into rings 4 x 100g minute steaks 4 bread rolls, split 80g rocket leaves 1 tomato, sliced oven fries, to serve (optional)

SAUCE

20g butter 1 tbsp plain flour 1 cup milk 125g cream cheese, softened 1 cup grated tasty cheese In large frying pan, heat oil on medium. Saute onion 6-8 mins, stirring occasional­ly, until golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside.

2 SAUCE Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, melt butter on high. Stir in flour and cook, stirring, 1 min. Remove pan from heat and blend in milk until smooth. Return to heat and cook, stirring, until mixture boils and thickens. Simmer 3 mins. Mix in cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth. Season to taste.

3 Heat same frying pan on high. Brush steaks with extra oil and season to taste. Sear 1 min each side until cooked to taste. Remove from pan. Rest, loosely covered with foil, 2 mins.

4 Fill each roll with rocket leaves, tomato slices and steaks. Top with onions and sauce to serve. Accompany with oven fries, if liked.
