Insiders say the actress has developed a strong bond with her estranged half-brother AJ’S young children, three-year-old Ryat and 22-month-old 22 month old Kira.
AJ, who left their mother, Adriane Hallek, 27, before Kira’s birth, is said to have only met his baby girl once, and it’s believed Jen has stepped in to help with the parenting duties.
“Jen’s going through a bit of a change in her life right now, and she would love nothing more than to get to know those beautiful kids a bit better,” says an insider. “She’s accepted that, at her age, children of her own probably aren’t in her future, so she’d love to adopt Ryat and Kira as her own.”
Jen’s dad John Aniston also dotes on his grandchildren, with Adriane telling Woman’s Day, “AJ’S parents [John and second wife Sherry Rooney] always request to see the babies – they love them very much.”
It’s also less than a two-hour drive from Jen’s Bel Air house to her niece and nephew’s home in Lake Arrowhead, but loyal Adriane remains coy about Aunty Jen’s visits. “I can’t say yes or no, I’m not supposed to. I can’t share too much,” she says.
