It’s tradition for the bride to arrive late to her wedding, but lovestruck Stephanie Pace was so excited to be marrying Mark Vincent she arrived at St Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney 30 minutes early!

“I woke up the morning of our wedding feeling so calm,” Stephanie says, explaining she and her dad Tony took a drive to the harbour to avoid beating Mark to the cathedral. “It was then I started to feel nervous!”

But Stephanie had no need for last-minute jitters. Mark – along with 300 family and friends, including fellow Aussie singers Guy Sebastian and Paulini, and Home And Away star Samantha Jade – was awestruck when she walked into the church last week.

MEANT TO BE TOGETHER

“Seeing Mark’s reaction when I looked up at him as he waited at the altar brought me to tears,’’ Stephanie reveals.

Mark was also overcome with emotion. “We both choked up and had tears in our eyes,” he says.

He knew from the moment he first met Stephanie at Sydney’s Cronulla Beach in 2013 that she was the woman for him.

“I can’t express how much I love her and how much she supports me every day of my life,” Mark said after they exchanged vows. “I know our love will grow stronger every day – we’re meant to be together.”

“It was like we were both dreaming,” Mark says.

Even the weather was kind, with predicted lightning and rain holding off until after the wedding reception finished.

Stephanie says she got goosebumps when she and Mark took their first dance as newlyweds and he sang The Loveliest Night Of The Year.
