She pulled off a surprise wedding to the boyfriend she’d been dating for only three months, and now Amy Schumer’s friends are buzzing that she could have a bun in the oven!
The actress married chef Chris Fischer on February 13 in a star-studded beach ceremony in Malibu, with sources revealing it was “thrown together last minute”. And despite Amy, 36, making a point of saying she’s “not pregnant”, that hasn’t stopped Hollywood’s rumour mill from going into overdrive.
“It’s just so bizarre how quickly Amy decided to rush down the aisle, but it would make perfect sense if she’s pregnant,” an insider tells Woman’s Day. “There’s a lot of talk flying around that she is indeed expecting but doesn’t want to draw attention to herself.”
Guests at Amy’s spur-of-the-moment nuptials included Jennifer Lawrence, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and Chrissy Teigen and hubby John Legend – all of whom Amy supposedly invited by text just a few days before tying the knot!
“Right now Amy isn’t admitting she’s pregnant to anyone, but it wouldn’t surprise her close circle if she was,” adds the insider. “Nobody would blame her for keeping it under wraps – that way any eventual announcement can be made strictly on her own terms.”
