Indeed, the singer, 27, sparked b buzz he’d secretly married his c childhood sweetheart, 25, when h he took to the stage in London on F February 19, flashing a simple, gold w wedding band on his ring finger.
“It would be just like Ed to run off and marry Cherry on the sly – they’re the type to elope somewhere like Vegas or have a really small, intimate ceremony in their hometown of Suffolk,” says a source.
“He didn’t tell anyone about the proposal for months, so quietly marrying makes sense. She doesn’t like the spotlight, so they would have wanted it to be really low-key.”
