Lisa Wilkinson

THE PROJECT, TEN AGE: 58 The Project’s latest recruit credits her husband Peter Fitzsimons for her incredible figure after he decided to overhaul his lifestyle – inspiring her to do the same. But former pro dancer Sonia is determined to fight the extra kilos by doing Zumba classes. “I don’t go to gyms or jump on a treadmill – I’d find that mind-numbingly boring,” she says. “I tone up quickly because of all the work I’ve done as a dancer.”

Don’t worry about your thighs or arms or bum – just like the good bits!” says Sam, who grew up on a sheep station and loves an outdoor life. When she’s got time, Sam hits the studio for an Xtend Barre class.

Carrie Bickmore

THE PROJECT, TEN

AGE: 37 With a busy career on radio and TV, as well as playing mum to two little ones, it’s a miracle Carrie has time to work out, but she does – five times a week! “I walk most days, I run, and on the weekend I do Pilates. I’ve just started Crossfit, too,” she says. “I like the high intensity. I’ve found a KX Pilates studio.” She also has a healthy diet – with an occasional treat!
