CINDY’S FEARS FOR SHRINKING KAIA

Before Kaia Gerber started her career on the catwalk, her famous model mum Cindy Crawford, 52, said she worried about her daughter because “today, models are expected to be so tiny”. And it seems her worst fears have come true, as the 16-year-old has been looking scary-skinny of late, with a source saying she’s restricting her diet to fit in with the other waif-like models on the runway. “Kaia’s legs are skin and bones, but she’s still convinced she’s fat – she doesn’t eat much more than salad and fruit. Cindy’s trying to instil some positive reinforcement that it’s OK to eat more,” the insider says, adding that Kaia’s mum shows her shoots from her own glory days to prove that curvier models can be just as successful. “She supports her daughter’s career but she knows the body pressures of the industry, and she’s afraid Kaia is caving in to them.”
