Animal communicator SIMONNE LEE reveals what your furry friend needs

1 Ensure you’re happy first

It doesn’t matter if you have a cat, dog, fish or bunny, all animals will follow your emotional state. As a pet owner, if you’re constantly stressed, you’re going to have stressed animals in the home. It’s important to be aware of the energy you bring into the space you share with them.

2 Talk to them

All your pet wants is to be a part of the family, and giving them your time is as simple as having a conversation with them. For example, cats may like morning chats and cuddles, dogs a rumble and chat in the living room and fish like a chat any time of the day. If you’re not clear on what to say, work out what you want to say and write it down. If we’re unsure, it’s going to be hard for them to gain a clear message on what we’re trying to get across. Make it as simple as you can.

3 Repetition is key

Pets feel a range of emotions. If you’re wanting to anchor a “happy” feeling within your pet, repeat a happy experience for them regularly.
