MEGHAN IN SAS TRAINING

The House of Windsor has been rocked by a paternity shock

Meghan’s also undergone two days of intensive SAS drills, during which she was “kidnapped” under live fire to simulate a terrorist attack. “Even though Meghan will have known the enemy is not real, I guarantee she would’ve been petrified,” says a former SAS officer, who describes the kidnap and rescue drill as “devised to frighten the life out of anyone”. “That’s why live ammo is used, so she knows what real gunfire sounds like should, God forbid, she ever be in a hostile situation.” Ex-army captain Harry was reportedly by Meghan’s side at the training, which is offered to the most senior royals.

Prince Charles has been rocked by claims he has a secret half-brother, thanks to his playboy father Prince Philip’s womanising ways 71 years ago.

German private eye Guenther Focke claimed to US magazine Globe he’s the result of an illicit fling between his barmaid mother Marie-karoline and the handsome young royal during World War II.

“I am Prince Charles’ brother,” he declared to the publication. “I have the same ears as him. But when I was younger, I looked almost identical to Philip.”

Guenther, a TV repairman who changed careers to become a private investigator, is reportedly demanding to meet Philip. But at 96, the prince is officially retired from royal duties.

“I have no intention of hurting the family, but I have a right to know who my father really is,” he insists.

At the time Guenther says he was conceived, Philip was a lieutenant in the Royal Navy and was widely reported to be romancing the future queen of England – Princess Elizabeth.

“Relatives have told me they used to drink in a pub 400 yards from my mother’s home,” he explains, adding by the time he was born Philip and Elizabeth had announced their engagement.

The Queen and Prince Charles are said to be frustrated by the claims, with one insider sniping “Philip wasn’t even in Germany, but serving in the Pacific, when this man was conceived.”

Another insider tells Woman’s Day, “The Queen finds it highly disrespectful that someone would be trying to grab cheap headlines at a time when they’re trying to make Philip’s twilight years as comfortable as possible.

“Charles is furious, but his mother is trying to calm him down because she doesn’t want Philip finding out about this. It could be too much stress for him.”
