HHE recently l popped d up on Nneighboursi hb bbut now Jjoel lc Creasey, 2727, is back doing what he does best – making people laugh! The prince of comedy is set to perform at the Sydney Comedy Festival. But first, he spills on life behind the scenes and his love-life.

What was it like starring on Neighbours?

I was hoping everyone would be a**holes because I needed some new stand-up material! But they were lovely. I thought Olympia Valance would be a diva, but she was the opposite!

How did you meet your cute boyfriend Jack Stratton-smith?

We started messaging on Instagram. I thought he was pranking me because he’s a total babe. I feel I’m at the level of “celebrity” where I have to have a hot boyfriend, and that’ll help me stay famous. If I don’t book any TV work this year, he’ll walk!

In your book Thirsty you wrote of a brief love affair with an anonymous football player. Can you tell us more?

He came around a lot because I live near one of the stadiums where he used to play. One day I told him I didn’t watch his game because I was too busy watching Mean Girls. He’d never seen it. I made him watch it – that’s by far the biggest gift I imparted on him!
