MALTESER & SALTED CARAMEL C DOUGHNUTS

M MAKES 6 PREP 5 MINS COOK 5 MINS

6 cinnamon doughnuts, halved horizontal­ly

50g milk chocolate, melted

50g white chocolate, melted

60g box Maltesers, roughly crushed

300ml thickened cream

½ x 380g can caramel top’n’fill

¼ tsp salt

1 Line a tray with baking paper. p Arrange doughnut halves h on tray. Spread tops of o 3 doughnut halves with milk m chocolate and press on Maltesers. Spread another 3 doughnut halves with white chocolate and top with Maltesers. Set aside 5 mins for chocolate to firm.

2 Meanwhile, in a bowl, using an electric mixer, beat cream and caramel until firm peaks. Stir in salt. Transfer mixture to a piping bag fitted with a large fluted nozzle.

3 Arrange remaining doughnut halves on a tray. Pipe cream onto remaining doughnuts halves, then top with chocolate tops. Serve immediatel­y.
