Bunny ear napkins & egg name tags
Want to take it one step further? Add an egg with each guest’s name so your seating placement is done, too
Choose your napkin. It can be the plain fabric kind or a paper napkin (the large-sized ones). Or you could go all out and choose a fun, patterned print from your local fabric store and cut it into placemat-size pieces.
Take a rectangular piece and start folding each long side to meet in the middle.
Fold down the corners to make them into points – these will become the bunny ears.
Fold the sides in again to make the whole piece thinner.
Pick up the fabric and pinch the two ears together to make the bunny shape.
Secure with a coloured ribbon to hold it in place.
Paint either a hard-boiled egg, plastic egg or an egg that you’ve already drained, making sure you give it a couple of coats for a well-covered look.
Once dry, add letter stickers or use an alphabet stamp to print names on your guests’ eggs.
Place egg inside your napkin. Now you’ve got an egg-cellent table setting detail that guests can actually use!
