Bunny ear napkins & egg name tags

Want to take it one step further? Add an egg with each guest’s name so your seating placement is done, too

-

1 Choose your napkin. It can be the plain fabric kind or a paper napkin (the large-sized ones). Or you could go all out and choose a fun, patterned print from your local fabric store and cut it into placemat-size pieces.

2 Take a rectangular piece and start folding each long side to meet in the middle.

3 Fold down the corners to make them into points – these will become the bunny ears.

4 Fold the sides in again to make the whole piece thinner.

5 Pick up the fabric and pinch the two ears together to make the bunny shape.

6 Secure with a coloured ribbon to hold it in place.

7 Paint either a hard-boiled egg, plastic egg or an egg that you’ve already drained, making sure you give it a couple of coats for a well-covered look.

8 Once dry, add letter stickers or use an alphabet stamp to print names on your guests’ eggs.

9 Place egg inside your napkin. Now you’ve got an egg-cellent table setting detail that guests can actually use!
