Inside Harry & Meghan's ROMANTIC AFRICAN HONEYMOON

Their first days as husband and wife will be spent in total luxury – and isolation!

-

They’ll tie the knot in front of the whole world, but Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan Markle will toast their newlywed status in complete privacy – under the stars in one of the most remote places on the planet.

UK reports suggest Harry, 33, has chosen a yet-to-be-built lodge in Namibia for their honeymoon, where the couple will pay more than $900 per night to stay in one of the least populated parts of Africa.

It’s believed Harry and Meghan, 36 – who will marry on May 19 in London – have chosen safari company Natural Selection to help organise the holiday of their dreams.

“Harry has visions of luxury camping with Meghan, surrounded by wildlife and nothing but the sounds of the

savannah,” says a source. “Meghan has been blown away by the thought and care he’s put into this trip – though she’s not surprised, given he always arranges amazing holidays for them both.”

The African continent has long been close to Harry’s heart, with the prince conducting much of his charity work there over the years. And since meeting and falling for Meghan in mid-2016, it’s also become a special place for the two of them – in fact, they had their first holiday in Botswana just weeks after they met!

“Africa is where they truly got to know each other away from the prying eyes of the public,” says Woman’s Day’s royal source. “And this travel company has assured them that they’ll have the utmost privacy for their honeymoon.”

While Harry and Meghan reportedly have a “mini-moon” planned in Ireland straight after their nuptials, they will be combining the trip with official appearances. But in Namibia, there’ll be no work obligations to attend to.

The rumoured honeymoon accommodation is The Hoanib Valley Camp, which, at the time of print, was still under construction.

“Deep in north-western Namibia,” says the website, “the area is a melee of towering mountains, sand dunes and huge expanses of desert, scattered with unique wildlife and nomadic Himba settlements. It’s also one of Namibia’s most remote and wild environments, and one that not many will get the chance to discover in a lifetime.”
