IF YOU’RE AFTER A STYLISH DRESS

Opt for a bold print that will stay on trend throughout the season, suggests Jane Grimme, head designer at Trenery. “A print can really bring impact to a classic silhouette while maintaining versatility,” she says. She adds that a bohemian paisley print, updated by a smooth, rich fabric base, will give you a flattering and modern wardrobe update.

IF YOU’RE AFTER A FOREVER JACKET

Sick of the same old shapes each winter? Jane recommends looking for a classic cropped pea coat. “Trenery’s wool textured pea coat in camel is cosy yet structured, and will look effortlessly modern for seasons to come.”

“A swing skirt is flattering to all body types as it’s fitted through the waist and hips before falling to a fluid hem,” Jane says. “You can keep it trans-seasonal by dressing it up with a blouse and heels, or I love it casual with a simple knit pullover and ankle boot.”

Look for a rollneck variety, says Jane, and if you can find one with wider sleeves they will also smarten up a chunky look.
