NASI GORENG
SERVES 4 PREP 10 MINS COOK 10 MINS PER SERVE 2197kj
1 tbsp sesame oil 3 cups cold cooked rice (see tip) 1½ cups roasted mixed vegetables (recipe left) 1 clove garlic, crushed 2 tsp minced ginger 2 tbsp kecap manis ½ cup frozen peas, thawed 4 fried eggs ½ cup coriander leaves ¼ cup fried shallots
1 In a wok, heat oil on high. Stir-fry rice and vegetables 3 mins until heated. Add garlic and ginger and stir-fry 30 secs until fragrant.
2 Add kecap manis and peas and stir-fry 4 mins until heated.
3 Serve nasi goreng topped with egg, coriander and fried shallots.
