WHAT SHE’S EAT­ING

Princess-to-be Meghan Markle has been ded­i­cated to keep­ing her diet as clean as pos­si­ble be­fore walk­ing down the aisle.

“She is very aware of what type of food she’s putting in her body,” says Joe Satanowski, who works at the fu­ture duchess’ favourite health food cafe, Re­vi­ta­size, in Toronto. “She’d come in two to three times a week and ab­so­lutely loved to eat our acai bowl… She was also re­ally into green juice.

“She knows by eat­ing cleaner, you’re go­ing to feel bet­ter. And that’s go­ing to be the se­cret to her wed­ding. She is com­mit­ted to be­ing healthy. That’s who she is and why she’ll be able to han­dle the stress of the day.”

In fact, Meghan says she keeps a plant-based diet dur­ing the week to en­sure she’s get­ting plenty of nu­tri­tion. “I try to eat ve­gan dur­ing the week and then have a lit­tle bit more flex­i­bil­ity with what I dig into on the week­ends,” she tells Best Health magazine.

So what’s in her cheat meal? “I could eat French fries all day. And I love pasta… The same goes for wine. Of course I’m go­ing to have that glass of wine – it’s de­li­cious and I en­joy it. Do the things you en­joy within rea­son. Know your body and what works for you and you’ll be fine.”

HOW SHE’S MOV­ING

Meghan is ramp­ing up her ex­er­cise plan to look and feel her best when all eyes are upon her on May 19.

“Meghan is al­ready in great shape,” h ” celebrity l bit trainer t i Paulette Sy­b­liss tells Ex­press, “so to en­sure she looks spec­tac­u­lar for her big day and has the per­fect bikini body on her honeymoon, I’d rec­om­mend she fo­cus on a bal­anced work­out rou­tine, some re­sis­tance train­ing and some yoga, which she loves lo to do.

“Also some car­dio cardi that will get ev­ery part of her h body toned and in amaz­ing amaz shape.

“Pair­ing ex­er­cise ex­er­cises to­gether in the form of a su­per­set su­per or triset [three [th ex­er­cises i back-to-back] b will be one of the best ways to get her body in amaz­ing shape in a shorter pe­riod. This style of train­ing is great for burn­ing calo­ries dur­ing train­ing, as well as af­ter her work­outs have ended.”
