The actor finally reaches a custody agreement with Ange
Th hey’ve ’ been b locked l kd in a bitter custody battle for 19 months, but Brad Pitt is a happy dad once more after finally convincing his ex Angelina Jolie to let him spend more time with their six kids.
Until recently, he’s only had limited visits with Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 11, and nine-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with Ange maintaining temporary sole custody. But Brad, 54, has won out at last – with help from daughter Shiloh.
“Brad pleaded with Ange to let the kids come over more, but she’s been stubborn about it and would only let him see them on court-mandated dates,” a source tells Woman’s Day. “Then she found letters in Shiloh’s room that broke her heart. Shi had been writing to her daddy, telling him how much she missed him, but she never posted them.”
In recent weeks, neighbours near Brad Brad’s s LA estate reported 42-year-old Ange’s ’ blacked-out SUV arriving and leaving his home twice a day, several times a week. The Los Feliz pad is where the kids grew up until the split in 2016, and is 10 minutes from Ange’s new mansion.
“Everyone thinks it’s Ange’s driver dropping the kids off,” says a source. “Brad lives behind huge walls, but sometimes you can hear the kids playing outside.”
Indeed, as our exclusive photo shows, the kids’ favourite toy is still in the pool, ready for them whenever they’re at Dad’s.
“Ange realises no good can come from trying to keep the kids away from Brad,” adds the source. “He’s so happy to have his big old house filled with the sound of his children again.”
