TRUTH #1 Nearly ev­ery con­tes­tant suf­fered from the dreaded “Fiji belly” in Par­adise af­ter brush­ing their teeth and show­er­ing in the wa­ter. Keira even got a par­a­site – and spent Christ­mas on the toi­let!

TRUTH #2 Par­adise, aka Mango Bay Re­sort, needed some love it­self! “It was a dive. They fully did it up be­fore the con­tes­tants ar­rived,” says a source.

TRUTH #3 Con­tes­tants were pro­vided with weights and yoga mats for ex­er­cise, and they’d of­ten work out to­gether.

TRUTH #4 The bar was open from lunchtime to mid­night – but con­tes­tants would have a cut-off if they’d drunk too much. The guys would or­der their drinks un­der Jar­rod’s name for a laugh!

TRUTH #5 Con­tes­tants could or­der what­ever food they wanted from the bar – chicken burgers were a favourite – and in the morn­ing they were treated to a break­fast buf­fet.

TRUTH #6 Face-to-cam­era in­ter­views could hap­pen at any time, even if it was 1am. A tired and grouchyhy con­tes­tant makes for bet­ter view­ing, clearly!

TRUTH #7 Con­tes­tants had to get con­sent from pro­duc­ers be­fore they had sex – even if it was at 4am! That’s one way to ruin the mo­ment…
