Q What is the best way to cool a cake?
A Most cakes should be allowed to cool in the pan for about 5 mins before turning upside down onto a wire rack. Quickly turn the cake back up using a second rack. Cover the rack with baking paper or a tea towel to prevent marks on the cake.
