Princess Charlotte Happy and outgoing, the confident little princess will keep a watchful eye on her new little brother
The newest baby prince will grow up with the ultimate protector in sister Princess Charlotte, who’s already bossing around her big brother!
Kate has proudly revealed her daughter is firmly “in charge” of George, with the Queen adding Charlotte “looks after” the future king of England.
Charlotte, who has already begun tennis lessons and started at preschool despite her tender years, will no doubt relish having a younger sibling to tend to.
Already said to be very close with George, she loves nothing more than a play date with her brother, and her mum adds she’s a “chatty, sweet girl”.
Her besotted father Prince William describes his princess as “a little joy of heaven”.
“Charlotte’s been excited about the baby in Mummy’s tummy for months now, and has been carrying a doll around with her to practise ‘helping’,” says Woman’s Day’s royal insider. “She’s been counting down the days, so she must be beside herself that the baby is finally here.”
With infant Kate’s deliciously chubby cheeks and little Prince William’s cheeky grin, it’s clear the cuteness gene runs strong in both the Middleton and Windsor bloodlines.
Kate’s parents Carole and Michael documented much of their firstborn’s childhood and were kind enough to share their private family snaps with the world before she married her prince in 2011.
William, meanwhile, grew up with lenses from around the world trained on him at every step – resulting in hundreds of treasured historic photos of the future King of England.
The next generation of royals can expect a mix of timeless professional media images and stunning personal photos, thanks to their mum Kate, who has always loved photography and excels at it, especially of her kids.
