Picnic At Hanging Rock SUNDAY, 8.30PM, FOXTEL

One of the year’s most anticipated drama series is finally here, and it’s worth the wait. For those who haven’t read Joan Lindsay’s novel, or seen the 1975 movie, this six-part adaptation explores the disappearance of three schoolgirls and a teacher at Hanging Rock, Victoria, on Valentine’s Day in 1900. “Overarching this entire thing is: what happened to those girls? It’s such a great ensemble piece with so many characters with a lot of secrecy between them,” teases Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer (above), who plays headmistress Mrs Appleyard.
