Split rumours have been circling them for weeks, but Courteney Cox and her on-off fiance Johnny Mcdaid attempted to put on a united front for the cameras during his band’s recent appearance in New York.

But returning to LA on April 20, their frosty behaviour suggested a different story.

The couple were spotted having an intense discussion at LAX airport, with several onlookers revealing they were embroiled in a fight.

“There was a lot of hissing going on, but they were trying their best to keep it quiet,” one eavesdropper has revealed to Woman’s Day.

Courteney, 53, and the Snow Patrol rocker, 41, no doubt have a lot to sort through, with the actress recently ditching the engagement ring he first gave her in 2015. What’s more, Johnny was nowhere to be seen when the actress partied in West Hollywood with friends including director and longtime pal Will Speck, 48 – who she was pictured draped all over.

“Courteney and Johnny are off and on more than anyone knows,” adds a source. “But they seem to be really struggling this time.”

The troubled couple were arguing, according to onlookers. Family members are concerned that Paris is heading for a breakdown.
