POSH’S FURY OVER BECK'S NEW PARTY PAD!

David’s move to the US sets alarm bells ringing for Victoria

-

They barely exchanged glances at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding last month, following earlier reports by Woman’s Day the couple had been leading separate lives. But now comes the biggest hint yet Posh and Becks may be over.

In a move threatening to be the final straw in their marriage, David Beckham, 43, has been looking to secure a house in Florida. It’ll serve as a base when he’s working with his new US football team Miami MLS – a sure-fire sign he plans to do more than just work in the city.

But with Victoria, 44, staying put in London with the couple’s four kids – Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13, and Harper, six – sources say tensions are at an all-time high.

“David is spending more and more time in Miami, and he loves it there. He’s ready to go all in with his team and will be based

there most of the time. He wants the perfect house to stay in while he’s working,” says an insider.

“He went ahead and started shopping for places and didn’t factor Victoria into his decision. It’s going to be his house after all,” the source reveals.

“But she’s frustrated he picked somewhere that’ll be a bachelor pad instead of a family-friendly property, which would be more suitable for when she comes to visit with the kids.” The former Spice Girl fears her husband will be sucked into Miami’s night-life scene and turn the $86,000-a-month, seven-bedroom mansion he has his eye on into the ultimate party house. “David likes to have fun and let loose with his friends, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But Victoria absolutely doesn’t want any wild parties happening at his house,” the insider explains. “She trusts him, but it’s other women she has a problem with. Victoria’s not stupid and knows girls throw themselves at David all the time. So she’s made it clear she doesn’t want him to have women over at all.” Despite the distance, Victoria plans to keep David on a short leash. “Victoria has every intention of making sure David is behaving himself and not acting like a single guy when she’s not there. She’s laying down the law in a major way,” the insider adds. As Woman’s Day reported in April, cracks have been appearing in the couple’s marriage for some time. And their icy interactions at the royal wedding did nothing to dispel months of rumours their marriage is on the rocks.

“They’ve had to deal with so many whispers they’re not in a good place, and that alone is taking its toll. David and Victoria always brush it off, but a lot of people think it’s been a while since they were photographed looking really happy together,” says the source. “As much as Victoria doesn’t like the idea of David being alone in this bachelor pad, she wouldn’t move there to be with him because she’s too focused on her work. They’re living very separate lives.”

Married for almost 19 years, the pair have always valued their independence, but those close to them are concerned they’re drifting too far apart.

“If they really want this to last, they’re going to have to put a lot of work into their marriage. And that will be a whole lot harder when they’re living in different countries,” says the insider.

“The distance would be tough for any married couple, and their friends are worried it could become too much for them.

“If they can’t figure out a way to make this work, it seems very possible a split could be just around the corner.”
