As her ex hubby Justin flaunts his romance with her good friend Emma Stone, Jen is left heartbroken yet again
Three short months after Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston sadly parted ways he’s committed the ultimate betrayal – flaunting his sizzling relationship with her once good friend Emma Stone.
Friends say Jen “can’t believe this is happening again” and is also telling friends how Justin’s obvious feelings for his new co-star is like “history repeating” after her first husband Brad Pitt dumped her for his Mr & Mrs Smith co-star Angelina Jolie 13 years ago.
This comes after several photos have surfaced of Justin, 46, and Emma, 29, sharing dinner dates, nights out – and even a romantic beach holiday in the south of France.
A CRUEL MANOEUVRE
“This is really cruel of Justin and Emma, and it shows an utter lack of respect for Jen,” confides an insider close to the Friends star.
“She refuses to play the fool, especially for Emma and Justin – who many believe would still be a C-lister if not for her.” As rumours of a relationship have been swirling for weeks, Justin and Emma vehemently deny they are anything more than close friends, but those in Jen’s camp insist she’s just not buying it. “She saw the photos. Every Everyone can see there’s sp sparks there. They’re n not fooling anyone. Je Jen’s trying to be the b bigger person in this sit situation but she can’t help but think this is a cruel manoeuvre especially since she and Justin are going through a divorce,” our source adds. “He could’ve waited a few more months before flaunting his famous girlfriend, especially as she used to be a friend of Jen’s,” the insider adds.
Curiously, Justin and Emma sat two seats away from each other at the Louis Vuitton show at Fondation Maeght on May 28 in Saint-paul-de-vence, France, buffered by Jennifer Connelly and Lea Seydoux, but sources say their obvious connection was palpable.
Woman’s Day is told the pair followed their front-row flirtation with a visit to a nearby hotel.
“They were obviously trying to keep it on the down low but when they thought no one was looking they couldn’t keep their hands off each other,” an insider who was at the event reveals. “This cloak-anddagger stuff isn’t really fooling anybody, certainly not Jen. This must be so humiliating for her.”
MONTHS OF RUMOURS
Justin and Emma first got tongues wagging after they recorded themselves showing off their karate moves in an Instagram video posted last December.
They co-star in Netflix’s new series Maniac and were wrapping up the season, but their chumminess raised more than a few eyebrows at the time.
Then, on March 6, Justin and Emma sat in the front row for the Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week.
On May 2, the rumoured lovebirds were spotted once more, this time on a sushi date in New York City, wearing dark clothing and baseball caps.
“Jen deserves to be treated right,” our source explains. “She doesn’t want Justin back but she doesn’t want him in a relationship with one of her good friends.”
SHE’S NO FOOL
Jennifer and Justin quietly separated after their annual new year trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Jennifer announced the split on February 15. They had been together since 2011.
“Jen knew he wasn’t happy in the marriage,” adds the insider. “They really weren’t all that compatible. He likes his tattoo shops and motorcycles and prefers living in New York City. She loves yoga and eating healthy and the California sunshine. She tried and it didn’t work out. She accepts that. What she doesn’t like is being made to look the fool.”
