STEP 1 Soak away the day Start by half-filling your bathtub or foot spa with warm (not hot) water. While the tub is filling remove any existing polish. Then grab your Woman’s Day, sit back, relax and let your feet soak for a good 15 minutes to soften skin and calluses. STEP 2 Scrub-a-dub Next, use your pumice stone to work wo on any particular­ly hard or dry dryy areasa areas of oof skin. Gently buff f until it’s sloughed oughed away. STEP 3 Trim and polish Next, towel dry feet and slather on a rich moisturise­r. Now you’re ready to trim with your clippers – short and slightly square will look most natural – and gently push back the cuticles, too.

Finish by re-cleansing the nails with acetone and applying a couple of coats of your desired polish. Voila! Pretty, soft feet for a fraction of the price p of a spa ped pedicure.
