Dolly Parton fans are going wild over the news the star is getting her own eight-part Netflix series. With each episode based on a different Parton classic, fans will no doubt get to relive some of her biggest belters, including Jolene, 9 To 5 and I Will Always Love You. Dolly’s also the executive producer, so it’s going to be a great watch. “As a songwriter, I’ve always enjoyed telling stories through my music,” the country music star tweeted. “I’m thrilled to be bringing some of my favourite songs to life with Netflix. We hope our show will inspire and entertain families and folks of all generations, and I want to thank the good folks at Netflix and Warner Bros Television for their incredible support.” We can’t wait!
