Britney Spears looked down in the dumps during a visit to the Miami Seaquarium with her sons Sean, 12, and Jayden, 11, with sources saying the 36-year-old’s ongoing child support battle with Kevin Federline, 40, is taking its toll. “Kevin is demanding more money, and at first Britney brushed it off as ridiculous,” an insider tells
Woman’s Day.
“But things are getting very ugly, very fast. “Britney doesn’t want to give Kevin another penny, but he just won’t back down.”
The pop star already pays her ex-husband around $26,000-a-month in child support – but he’s requesting three times that amount. And Britney has now been subpoenaed to discuss her personal finances.
“This has gone further than Britney ever expected it to and she’s worried,” adds the insider. “Kevin is a greedy guy and he’s also been shopping around the idea of a tell-all book with a hefty price tag attached.
“Kevin wouldn’t hesitate to spill all the secrets from his marriage to Britney and she’s bracing herself for the fall-out. He’s telling anyone who’ll listen that he has plenty of dirt on her and this book is only the beginning.”
