5-INGREDIENT CHOC SMASH CAKE

SERVES 10 PREP 15 MINS + CHILLING

✦ 290g bag milk chocolate melts ✦ 150g bag skinless hazelnuts, roasted, chopped ✦ 6 chocolate wafer biscuits, roughly crushed, plus extra to decorate ✦ ¼ cup Nutella, plus extra to serve ✦ Ferrero Rocher chocolates, to fill

1 Lightly grease a 1.25 litre, 16cm-wide round bowl. Line with plastic wrap.

2 Reserve ¼ cup of melts. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave remaining chocolate on Medium (50%) in 30-sec bursts, stirring between each, until melted and smooth.

3 Stir in three-quarters of the hazelnuts and crushed wafers. Working quickly, pour chocolate into sides of bowl, using a teaspoon to completely cover edges and base of bowl. Dollop inside of shell with Nutella. Chill 15 mins.

4 Holding plastic wrap, gently ease shell from bowl, then remove wrap. Fill shell with unopened chocolates. Place a plate on top of shell and invert.

5 Melt reserved melts. Drizzle top of chocolate shell with melted chocolate, sprinkle with remaining hazelnuts and extra wafer biscuits, then pipe on remaining nutella.
