HOW DOES IT HAPPEN?

-

Endometriosis occurs when cells similar to the ones that line the uterus grow elsewhere in the body. Usually, they’re found in the ovaries, fallopian tubes and general pelvic area causing discomfort and pain. Even with surgery, the chance of the disease recurring within five years can be as high as 40 per cent.
