Hair & now

- Michelle Morend, Freshwater, NSW

I will be cutting my hair on my 11th wedding anniversary to help raise funds for the Mcgrath Foundation, and to make wigs for kids with cancer. I’m an ESL teacher. A dear friend who has cancer has been wearing wigs for a couple of years and my TAFE teacher has alopecia areata. I wish to donate my hair to make wigs for children in particular because I’ve always worked with kids and was a preschool teacher too. My niece in Australia, my cousin in Canada and my cousin’s husband in Singapore have all cut their hair for a good cause before. My own father died of lung cancer and I have enough friends who are breast cancer survivors. If you’d like to support me, go to mc gr ath foundation portal. gofundraise.com.au/page/ Michelle tang mo rend
