With Ned living a quiet life in England while Kate jets around the world for movie roles, the distance between the pair, who share four-year-old son Bear, hasn’t been easy. Friends say there’s no denying it’s put a strain on their roman romance. “Kate has so much attention on her and dealing with divorce claims would be tough on any relationship,” our insider reveals. “Fortunately, they’ve been great at working through any issues that arise. Communication has always been the key for both of them.”
While Kate’s close friendship with her Titanic co-star Leonardo Dicaprio has also caused tension, friends say Ned has never been more certain of Kate’s dedication.
