Be true to yourself

Thank you for the best article I've read in a very long time (Put A Stop To Self-sabotage, WD, June 25)! We all do it to ourselves and it's totally unwarranted. Other people compare themselves to us, while we compare ourselves to them. Stop trying to be someone else.

You're unique and don't have to be like a person you think you should be. Don't listen to people who say hurtful things to you. I'm 68 now, and I wish I'd learned this so much earlier.
