Tziporah 'I DON'T GIVE A SHEET!'
The controversial former model bizarrely drops by the servo – dressed in undies and a bed sheet!
Life really has come full circle for former Vogue covergirl Tziporah Malkah who, just 20 months ago, was outraged when a series of unflattering photos of her collecting her mail dressed only in a crumpled bed sheet and slippers was published.
Last week, she was again “caught out” – but this time she revelled in the attention, telling Woman’s Day exclusively that she’s in “a great place” and “confident” enough not to worry what people think any more.
“I have never felt more fabulous or confident in myself,” Tziporah proudly insisted after being made aware of the second set of sheet photos. “When my boyfriend and I ran out of milk, we raced up the road and I ran in. It was really a case of running the gauntlet. I hope I didn’t scare the shop attendant. He was sweet, actually.”
SECOND CHANCE
The 44-year-old has experienced some extreme highs and lows since bursting back into the spotlight in October 2016 – with her first sheet shots prompting the producers of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! to recruit her for the reality series.
While she claims she isn’t seeking fame again, she’s certainly embraced her second chance at celebrity, appearing on TV shows, in magazines and at social events, seemingly courting attention despite her protests.
ROMANTIC WOES
Tziporah, who was famously once engaged to billionaire James Packer, found love again with sailor Guy Vasey, who she’d met as a teenager. The relationship imploded this January after she assaulted him and a police officer who came to his rescue.
She has since started dating another man, but still seems hung up on James and has even claimed he wants her back. Two weeks ago she left a pot plant outside the Bondi home they shared all those years ago.
Throw in an erratic driving conviction and an on-again, off-again feud with her politician mum Pru Goward, and her life seems like a rollercoaster. But last week Tziporah appeared to be totally comfortable in her own skin and at ease with being snapped again in a bed sheet.
The actress fled Australia when James “broke” her heart in 1998, changing her name from Kate Fischer and embracing her Jewish roots after settling in LA. There she fell in love with a rabbi who, she claims, robbed her of her entire $2 million fortune.
After she was found living quietly in Melbourne working in an aged care facility, Tziporah revealed she’d spent 22 months in a homeless women’s shelter after arriving back penniless.
Now the former model, who’s also been seen working out at the gym, has put all her issues behind her, saying, “That I can dash into the shops wearing my wonderful pink sheet just shows I really only care what I and my loved ones think, no one else.”
