After years of being branded a “cheat”, Guy Pearce has revealed that it was his ex-wife Kate Mestitz who decided to end their 18-year marriage when the couple split in 2015.
“I’ve got people coming up to me saying, ‘You’re a bastard for having an affair with Carice [van Houten] and then getting her pregnant and then leaving your wife,” the 50-year-old revealed during an interview. “And I’m going, that’s so not what happened.”
In fact, Guy says he was heartbroken when Kate abruptly ended their marriage, but months later he fell in love with Carice.
