1 LOOK AT THE WINE

Sim­ply just fo­cus your eyes on your wine – the colour, the body, the vis­cos­ity. Don’t try to an­a­lyse what you see, just look into it.

2 SMELL THE WINE

Close your eyes, put your glass un­der your nose and take a cou­ple of deep breaths. What does the wine smell like? Me­mories might come to you. No­tice them and let them go.

3 TASTE THE WINE

Fo­cus on the ex­pe­ri­ence of the wine in your mouth – its taste, vis­cos­ity and the feel. No­tice if the flavour changes after five, 10 or even 20 sec­onds.
