ROYALS TAKE SIDES

-

THE QUEEN

in recent years, she’d prefer not to take sides. “The Queen gets on well with Camilla, but the last thing she wants is any more drama,” says the insider. “She’ll be fed up with the both of them!”

PRINCE WILLIAM

Although Wills gets on well with his aunt, he’s not going to lower himself to get involved in petty squabbles. “William just wants everyone to get along at this point,” says the insider. “He’s focusing on the future, not the past.”

PRINCE PHILIP

While Philip adores Anne, he’s had more of a tense relationship with his son. “He’s a romantic, I’m a pragmatist – that means we do see things differently,” he once said. Adds the insider, “Philip just wants this petty feud to be over.”

DUCHESS KATE

William’s wife has never been a fan of Camilla. “Camilla didn’t approve of William marrying Kate because she was a commoner, and Kate has never forgotten. She gets on well with Anne... Kate wants to be more like her.”

ZARA TINDALL

Zara is loyal to her mother Anne – and doesn’t have much of a relationship with Camilla. “Zara and Camilla have little to do with each other,” says the insider. “She’s close to her mum and would believe anything she said about Camilla!”

PRINCE HARRY

Harry is in the honeymoon phase with Meghan and doing his best not to get drawn into the fight. “Harry and Charles have had their problems in the past, but Meghan helped them to put that all behind them,” says the insider.
