BECKS’ PENNILESS NEPHEW TELLS ALL

-

He grew up playing with his cousins at Posh and Becks’ $55 million mansion, but now David Beckham’s nephew, 17-year-old Freddie Every, is living on government handouts in a one-bedroom housing commission flat with his dad and pregnant sister. The last time Freddie saw David was about nine years ago, before his parents split. Freddie’s father Colin now raises him and his sister Georgina, while their mother Lynne – David’s eldest sister – and younger brother Josh, 13, live in an $835,000 house, which Colin says Becks bought them.

While Freddie’s first job on a noodle stall at 14 saw him take home $90 a week and he currently has “£1.36 [$2.40] in the bank”, his cousin Brooklyn recently earned $177,500 for a single advert for Chinese phone giant Huawei.

But despite the stark differences in their fortunes, Freddie and Georgina say they are proud of their uncle and cousins.

“I’m lucky he’s famous and he’s all over the internet. Everywhere you look, he’s there, so I can see him,” says Georgina, who like Freddie would love to see David and the rest of the family again. “I don’t need to have a phone call to see what he’s up to. That is better than nothing.”
