Go diagonal

F For rectangular t l spaces, t try t to offset everything on a diagonal. Diagonal lines will give the longest distance in your garden, maximising the feeling of size. If you go for a path, it will also give generous triangular planting beds either side. Having a focal point at the end of a garden, such as a sculpture or water feature, will draw you out into the space and force you to travel through the area, adding another layer and dimension to the space.
