INSIDE T HE BIGGEST BLOCK EVER

Just when we thought The Block couldn’t get any more daring than choosing The Gatwick Hotel as their latest renovation project, leaked plans have revealed The Oslo Hotel in St Kilda is on the cards for 2019 – and it’s going to be huge!

The property, located at 38 Grey Street, was built in 1861, making it more than 150 years old. Similarly to the Gatwick, it’s housed many of the area’s homeless over the years by providing affordable accommodation. Title records show the property’s owner recently died, leaving the estate to three beneficiaries. Should the council approve the proposed plans, the building will be transformed into five terraced apartments.

And at a whopping 1353 square metres, it has the potential to be the biggest site in the show’s history!
