Not just for the fancy types, complimentary spirits have been revamped across Emirates classes. Cheers to that! Trialling business class’ new collection, I sample Glenfiddich Solera Reserve whisky and Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select bourbon, plus many more special drops. Suave bar staff make me feel like an A-lister as they shake and stir delicious concoctions, offering me a moreish espresso martini. The dessert favourite now sits beside classics such as the Negroni, Old Fashioned and Aperol Spritz. If you’re lucky enough to fly first class, try the newly added Dalmore King Alexander III – the only single-malt Scotch whisky in the world created using a unique six-cask finish. For economy folk, it’s Bacardi Carta Blanca, Hennessy VS and Beefeater Gin.
