One year on from taking up residency in Canberra as a senator in Federal Parliament, Cleaver’s (Richard Roxburgh) life is chaotic as ever, and after single-handedly causing the downfall of the governor-general (John Gaden) he’s made some new enemies. The drama kicks in tonight when, on the eve of the arrival of US Defence Secretary Linus Potemkin (Anthony Lapaglia) for an Asian Security Summit, there’s a terrorist gas attack on Parliament House.
