ED’S SECRET WEDDING!
Ed Sheeran has all but confirmed he’s tied the knot with his high school sweetheart Cherry Seaborn after an extremely telling TV interview.
Speaking to Access Online to promote his documentary Songwriter, the journalist pointedly asked Ed, 27, to comment on rumours he’d tied the knot earlier this year.
Without saying a word, the usually chatty Perfect singer pointed to the silver band on his ring finger.
“All right, that’s exciting,” exclaimed the reporter, who congratulated Ed on his nuptials, adding, “How did you sneak that? How did you manage that?”
“Well I never really do anything too public anyway,” a coy Ed replied.
Rumours first surfaced in February this year that Britain’s most famous redheaded singer had married 26-year-old Cherry, who he dated in high school.
At the time, he sidestepped whispers in the media by insisting the ring he was wearing was a “male engagement ring”.
“I never saw why men didn’t wear engagement rings. It’s the same commitment either way. Cherry made it herself out of silver clay. I really like it,” he said.
Ed’s reps so far haven’t confirmed the happy news, but his dad John added fuel to the fire last week when he refused to deny to the Daily Mail online Ed had indeed tied the knot.
