Margot Brad’s new crush!
With his divorce almost settled, the eligible bachelor has a new crush!
He’s been locked in one of Hollywood’s most bitter divorces but as Brad Pitt hits the two-year anniversary of his shock split from Angelina Jolie, sources say he’s finally ready to move on.
What’s more, he’s already set his sights on his dream woman – and it’s none other than Aussie actress Margot Robbie!
The two have grown close while working together on the latest Quentin Tarantino flick, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, which also co-stars Leonardo Dicaprio.
“Margot and Brad get along great and their chemistry is off the charts,” an insider reveals. “They’re having a lot of fun working on this together. They’ve bonded over a shared love of motorcycles, and Margot has been showing an interest in Brad’s sculpture work.
“Margot is really cool and easy to get along with. She’s like one of the guys. Brad loves that she’s so down-to-earth. She’s not obsessed with her looks like so many women in Hollywood and he finds that very refreshing.”
Unfortunately for Brad, 54, there’s one setback… Margot’s happily married to British film director Tom Ackerley.
Still, it’s not held Brad back from pulling out all the stops to charm the 28-year-old actress.
“Brad knows she’s taken, but he can’t help but be smitten by Margot,” our insider tells. “He thinks she’s stunning, extremely talented and fun to be around.
“He’s naturally flirtatious but Margot is super-professional and just laughs it off.”
But Tom, 28, is less than impressed. His wife has already been forced to fend off rumours of a romance with Leonardo Dicaprio, 43, and was also linked to her married Focus co-star Will Smith.
Sources believe it’s no coincidence Tom’s been spending time with his wife on location in LA during filming of the 1960s-set thriller, working as a member of the crew.
“Tom must be pretty sick of the rumours at this point, especially after enduring it for so long with Leo,” the insider says.
“He trusts Margot totally, but he doesn’t want anyone making moves on her – and it doesn’t help that Brad’s one of the world’s most eligible men. It makes sense he’d want to keep an eye on Brad and make sure he’s not crossing any lines.”
Although Margot may be off the market, Brad is ready to dip his toe back into the dating pool as his custody war with Angelina nears an end.
“For so long Brad has been focusing all his efforts on trying to win custody of his kids,” says the insider. “He hasn’t had time to think about a relationship. But now he wants to find someone and settle down again. When this is over, he can get his whole life back on track.”
After two high-profile failed marriages – the first to Jennifer Aniston, from 2000 to 2005 – Brad is ready for a fresh start.
“He’s really cleaned up his act and quit the booze, and he’s a different man these days,” adds the insider. “Now he’s ready to meet the right person. Brad knows he can’t be with Margot but he’d love to meet a woman just like her. Margot is pretty much his ultimate girl.
“Brad wants to be with a person who understands the industry, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if he decided to date someone who isn’t a celebrity, just so their romance can be more low-key. He knows what he’s looking for and he wants to find that person. Brad still believes in true love.”
