Pose is a dance musical like no other, featuring the largest cast of transgender actors, as well as the largest recurring cast of LGBTQ actors, in a scripted series. Set in the ’80s, the show follows Blanca Rodriguez (Mj Rodriguez) and her “house”, a diverse “family” of young LGBTQ people rejected by their own families. Together they compete in the Balls, a dance competition where house members challenge each other and are judged on their outfits, attitude and skills.
