Still unsure what these ghostly masks do? We explain what all the fuss is about

-

WHAT ARE THEY?

These masks are thin, flexible sheets soaked in active and hydrating ingredients that leave your skin feeling exceptionally nourished. They mould to the contour of your face and are usually infused with moisture-retaining glycerine and hyaluronic acid. Depending on the mask, you’ll also find vitamin C, glycolic acid and other skin-loving ingredients.

HOW DO YOU USE THEM?

Your skinkin needs to be clean and dry. dry Unfunfold the sheet and place it over your face, paying close attention to the eye holes and nose slits. Relax and let it work its magic! After, work the remaining serum into your face, neck and backs of hands. Use twice a week.

WHO SHOULD USE THEM?

Everyone! Charcoal-infused masks tackle congestion, vitamin C-packed formulas brighten skin and acid-based masks are great for sensitive skin. Most have hyaluronic acid, which will flood superdry skin with hydration.

HOW DO THEY WORK?

Sheet masks are a physical barrier that drip-feeds nourishing ingredients into the skin over a period of time, usually 10-20 minutes. The mask prevents moisture from evaporating from the skin, therefore helping it absorb even more goodness. The masks are a simple and effective way to add a much-needed boost to dehydrated and dull skin.
