The actress and Jamie are overjoyed to be starting a family together at last
Broody Katie Holmes set tongues wagging that she’s got exciting baby news to share after she was spotted tenderly rubbing her stomach late last month.
Woman’s Day broke the happy news the mother-of-one may be pregnant with her first child with partner Jamie Foxx, after she was snapped at the gym paying extra attention to her tummy. She was in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, where she flew in to spend time with her on-off love who has been busy filming Just Mercy in the city.
NEARING 40
Now the actress – who has done little to silence the whispers – has shown off what appears to be a distinct baby bump at jewellery brand Harry Winston’s New York Collection launch, all but confirming she and Jamie are pregnant!
Their baby joy comes just weeks before the actress is due to celebrate her milestone 40th birthday and already Katie can’t conceal her happiness, telling family and friends she’s pregnant with baby number two!
Katie is already mum to Suri, 12, from her marriage to Tom Cruise, while 50-year-old Jamie is father to two daughters, Corinne, 24, and Annalise, nine, from previous relationships.
And as the proud parents-tobe prepare for their new arrival, there’s one person who is more excited than anyone else – Suri!
“Katie and Suri are the best of friends and it’s amazing news for both of them. Suri has always wanted a younger sibling and Katie knows she’ll make the best big sister,” spills a well-informed Hollywood insider.

“Katie really enjoys her work, but nothing is more important to her than family. She loves being a mum and has longed for a second child for years.”
The A-listers, who were first linked in 2013, kept their romance under wraps until September 2017, and although they’ve had to face rumours of Jamie’s wandering eye and a brief break-up in the time since, they’ve survived their relationship lows and now look happier than ever.
“Katie and Jamie have had their ups and downs, but they’re in a good place right now. They both make great parents and they’re ready to take this next step together. Having a baby on the way has put everything into perspective and brought them even closer together. It’s a dream come true,” relays our insider.
While the 39-year-old Dawson’s Creek star is yet to officially confirm her baby news, it hasn’t gone unnoticed she’s been wearing a lot of baggy clothes to cover her stomach. According to sources close to Katie, although she’s confided in family and friends, she’s holding back on

“It makes sense Katie wouldn’t share her pregnancy with the world right away. She and Jamie are extremely private about their relationship but Katie can’t deny she’s glowing!” says the insider.
“Katie and Jamie just want a healthy child but with three daughters between them, they’d be thrilled to have a little boy!”
And with their family growing, friends believe it will only be a matter of time before the movie stars make things official by saying, “I do.”
“Katie is a mum first and that’s what she’ll be focusing on right now, but marriage is on the cards for them,” says the insider.
