“To make your home stand out with a contemporary feature wall, think about bringing in some further colours via geometric patterns or using contrasting colour schemes,” says Grace. “[It’s] an easy and contemporary way of brightening your home for the warmer months. Simple yet effective, Grace explains that by adding painted stripes on the wall, you’ll make the room feel new and exciting – and much bigger! “Add vertical stripes to create height, horizontal stripes to elongate smaller spaces, or add diagonal criss-crossing stripes for a more edgier feel,” she says. “A classic way to accentuate lighter colours is to tie in trending darker tones.”

Grace suggests making a statement from the moment people arrive at your house. “Bring a renewed sense of life to your home exterior with an updated feature paint colour for your front door,” she says. “Stun your guests and passersby to your home with an energetic tone like Taubmans Ultimate Alkyd Enamel paint in Lavendula.
