Tips for successful spritzing

• Always shake your product well before spritzing to make sure the ingredients are well distributed. • Less is more – the bonus of a pump spray over an aerosol is that there is no propellant, which means there’s more room for active product so you’ll find you won’t need to use as much. • Spritz from the bottom of your hair and work your way up. That way the ends, which tend to be more “needy”, will get the most coverage. • You’ll often find mechanical pumps such as these spray a heavier mist than an aerosol, so hold at a reasonable distance. • Depending on the nozzle, pumps often deliver a more irregular spray than aerosols, so where appropriate comb the product through with a wide-tooth comb. • Unlike aerosol sprays, which can be flammable, pumps are your best friend when you’re travelling.
